About Us: Allen Tam, owner of STC Distributing, started in the produce business over 30 years ago in a space off the Market. When fellow Market merchant Greenleaf grew out of their space and moved into a bigger stall on the Market, STC moved in. STC Produce is known for sourcing hard to find Asian imports for particular chefs throughout the Bay Area. He sells lots of tropical fruit, ginger and turmeric root and a variety of hot peppers. STC sources ingredients for customers that are looking for specific products from their home countries that they cannot otherwise find in the US.
