About Us: Berti Produce sources and sells a full line of fresh vegetables—greens, eggplant, broccoli, Napa cabbage, and more—to a range of business, from local mom-and-pop grocers to Whole Foods. The face of Berti Produce is a man named Ray Mah. Ray started as a porter at Berti’s in the early 1990s. He worked hard, climbed the ranks, and eventually bought Berti several years later. In the 2000s he decided to sell the business, but wasn’t ready for retirement, and continues to manage the business today.
